A Hub of International Business

Basel is a vibrant hub of international business, home to some of the world’s most influential companies. Global leaders like Novartis and Roche have chosen Basel as their headquarters, making it a key player in pharmaceuticals and beyond. Companies like Dufry and Nestlé also have a strong presence here, reinforcing Basel’s reputation as a center for innovation and commerce. With its prime location at Europe’s crossroads and a robust business infrastructure, Basel attracts multinational corporations and creates a dynamic environment where global business thrives.

For our students, studying in Basel means unparalleled opportunities to engage with industry leaders, gain hands-on experience, and build networks that shape their future careers on a global scale.

Artistic Expression Flows Through our Streets

From classic to contemporary, traditional to avant-garde, Basel’s culture is as diverse as it is vibrant. The city is home to iconic museums like the Kunstmuseum and Fondation Beyeler, where art from all eras is celebrated. Art Basel brings the cutting edge of the art world to the forefront, while the Jazz and Blues Festivals infuse the city with rich, soulful sounds. In the summer, the Rhine comes alive with concerts that draw the community together. In Basel, culture isn’t just observed—it’s experienced and cherished by all.
